The experience was mixed. while the breakfast was enjoyable with a lovely selection, the room cleanliness left much to be desired. Issues included a dirty bathroom with mold and broken fixtures, and an unpleasant encounter with staff at check-in requesting payment despite prior settlement. the small bar lacked service when needed, impacting the overall convenience of the stay.

Had a blast with friends! We explored The Stray grasslands and the scenic Nidderdale moorlands. The food was great, and the staff were super friendly. Rooms were cozy and the breakfast was top-notch. Perfect for adventures in Yorkshire.
We had to wait for check-in at 3 pm, which was a bit frustrating, but it was clearly stated.

Great staff and comfy vibes
Staying there was a nice getaway! The staff was super friendly, and my room was way better than expected. Breakfast was pretty dope, especially the poached eggs. Just wish the restaurant had a bit more variety because we couldn’t get the starters we wanted.

The Knaresborough Inn provided an enjoyable stay overall. The annex double room offered direct outside access, which was perfect for my dog. I appreciated the comfortable beds and the well-presented meals. Dinner specials were outstanding. I couldn’t have asked for more. the shower pressure disappointed me. That definitely needs attention. The location was great, with easy access to local attractions. Check-in could have improved. waiting until 3 pm felt a bit too long for me, especially since I arrived slightly early. Despite these minor inconveniences, I felt well cared for. All staff I interacted with were friendly and accommodating, enhancing my visit. Would definitely consider returning again soon for another pleasant stay.
